Festive Wreath making at The Oaks with Olive & Bloom

We hosted our first of 3 wreath making workshops on Saturday and it was an absolute pleasure to welcome lots of new faces to The Oaks and also to finally have some festive fun after last years Christmas wasn’t quite what we all expected! Olive and Bloom supplied the most wonderful ingredients and step by step tutorial, creating a wreath that suited each individual. Not one wreath was the same as guests were invited to the Top Table decoration bar to select (from a huge variety!) the finishing touches that were right for them.

Having been myself to wreath classes, it was a really refreshing change to allow each maker the chance to create a look that suits their style and home rather then everyone making the exact same final outcome.

After a good few hours of creative fun and lots of very intense thinking faces! We stopped for a delicious festive themed afternoon tea, supplied by our wonderful in house caterers Ridgways.

The fire was roaring, the mulled wine flowing and the festive playlist was in full swing! Roll on the next 2 wreath workshops :-)
